So, we all know that 398 was epic, but I just came across this theory, which is both lulzy and potentially awesome

I was kinda pissed that 266 was a recap, but at least they did it well. Also, the new OP and ED are pretty good.

Edit: They do contain a ton of spoilers, though.

I watched the 266 opening, and I didn't see anything I'd call spoilerish. Maybe Ulquiorra's released zanpakutou at the end, but that's it. Maybe they're only spoilers if you know they're spoilers.

No manga chapter this week, and I guess no anime episode as well, but I'm not entirely sure.

Edit: Wait, maybe not. Apparently 401 is coming out this week, and spoilers look epic.

Anyway, 267 was okay. I feel like they were transitioning too much. The Renji and Chad bit was cool, especially for Chad, given that he gets like no screentime, but they really just dragged it on for too long. But, given what's going to happen next, and the fact that I can't conceive of them coming up with any more filler to pad upcoming episodes with, 268 is going to be awesome.

Well, I already got spoiled about Yammy. And I'm guessing, from the fact that Orihime's outfit covers her all the way up to the neck, and any place that might cover a Hollow hole didn't get torn off by Loli, that there's something to all the obvious foreshadowing.

Also, 270 was just as awesome as I expected. Us manga readers have known this was coming for... something like a year and a half. The epicness translates well into anime form. And stuff's about to get even more epic once this fight is over and we transition back to FKT.

I watched 270. So... was Segunda Etapa supposed to be the big twist? Or Ichigo's supposed death. which will be quickly healed by Orihime? Or is Orihime going to go Visored on us? The third option would be the most awesome-filled.

Nah, the big twist was Ichigo's death. It's not "supposed" either.

Is Ulquiorra, who is faster and more powerful than the deceased protagonist, going to just stand by and allow Orihime to heal Ichigo? Of course not. His whole job at the moment is to clean up the remaining intruders and recapture "Aizen-sama"'s new tool.

Better question: Is Orihime going to be in any state to heal anyone after watching her hero and love interest be killed by her tormentor, Ulquiorra? Nope.

Yes, but since this is Bleach, some deus ex machina will show up to save everyone. There's still four Captains in Hueco Mundo, after all, and I'd be willing to bet that, put together, Kenpachi and Byakuya could probably at the very least hold Ulquiorra at bay long enough for Ichigo to come back from the dead. Or Unohana could do it by herself. I still wholeheartedly believe that if Unohana ever let loose, she'd be able to take all the other Captains on by herself. Anyway, then Ichigo will whup on Ulquiorra with the power of his Second Transformation that I already know about.

Speaking of high-level Espada, where the fuck have Nel and her cronies disappeared to recently? And still no sign of Zaraki or Byakuya when there's fightin' about?

Oh, and one last thing - is it just me, or in the "Quincy Encyclopedia" at the end, does it look like the Captain's haori that Ichigo's dad is wearing is the torn haori of 11th Division? This would lend weight to my long-standing guess that Ichigo's dad is the "new 11th Division Kenpachi who's always late" that Kyouraku and Ukitate were referring to in Turn Back the Pendulum.

As for Ishida, I agree that he was kinda neglected, but Orihime is traumatized and out of her mind with fear/worry/etc., so I'd let it slide.

Also, I might have to switch from anime to manga soon. Cause Crunchyroll is trying to get Bleach, and Dattebayo has said they'll drop Bleach if Crunchyroll gets it, and Crunchyroll can die in a fire.

I did that simply out of frustration and lack of patience to wait on the anime. Then I got bored with that and kind of stopped following it completely about the point where the anime is now.
