Given how they just jumped from OMG GRIMMJOW with Ishida and Renji still in the middle of one battle and no idea what the hell happened to Rukia and Chad in the others, I would say this is filler. | |

How coincidental that two of my favourite stories BOTH finish pointless, banal filler arcs at approximately the same time. XD

| I was really, really surprised that they gave Adult Nel the exact same voice as Baby Nel. A Hillary Haag-esque high, squeaky Super Milk-Chan voice sounds completely out of place coming from a skull-horned badass death machine. I mean, I know a lot of seiyuu are one trick ponies (Steven Blum, anyone?), but come on... you can't talk even a LITTLE bit deeper?

| After putting it off for a long time, I finally caught up with the anime.... And I gotta say, I was about to stop watching it seeing how lame and depressingly boring the first part of hueco mundo and las noches was... But it certainly became much more awesome once the captains stepped in.
Which I think it's kinda sad... except Chad's, I found the other protagonist's fights to be pretty tedious and predictable.
And yes, Adult Nel's voice is off putting... It just doesn't fit her appearance and attitude. At all.
(Oh, and I didn't even bother watching the Amagai arc. I didn't miss anything important... right?) | |

I dunno... the way I understand it. It was Urahara the first one to create Vizards so far with the Hyogoku... and I think that wasn't entirely his intention. In my oppinion, the process of becoming Vizards is rather random so far... Then again, that seems to be the next level to attain more power in the case of a shinigami, so I wouldn't rule it out completely.

It was stupid of Kubo to include something that just makes it look like he's catering to the Hitsugaya's fangirls by letting him win. He should have had a much more difficult time with Habiel. She's the freaking Third Espada! When she released she blew his freaking right side off nearly instantaneously. And anyway, Kubo already pulled that gimmick with Hitsu creating ice out of atmospheric moisture back in the beginning of the Arrancar arc. Letting him make flowers out of it now is utterly pointless.

Specially because Hitsugaya has been in bigger binds before, and was more pressured than this, and he never ene did anything similar. Pulling this extremely powerful attack out of the blue does seem a bit cheap...
Unless, all of you are taking for granted that the fight is over. I'm sorry, but watching hundreds of anime, manga, movies and videogames have teached me that unless you clearly see a body, (Preferably a dismembered or headless one) or a clear proof that the opponent has died. You can never assume that he's dead for sure. And heck, even the things mentioned above can fail, Ichigo's latest stunt is a supreme proof of this. For all we know, Halibel could simply break free of it later and kick Hitsu's ass a bit more. It's perfectly plausible if you ask me.
I'm honestly more interested in seeing more of the Kyoraku and Stark's battle, both of them are extremely cool characters and yet, neither of them have really even bared their fangs at each other.
