Yeah you know, I've got a lot of patience, but I've been unable to do anything for months now. Characterwise I can't do anything with Kazu until after the tournament.

Yeah, I was kind of planning to get things started this week, but shit came up and I had to spend most of this week driving around the Dallas Metro getting shit straightened out for college next semester.

All I need to do is write Chojiro's speech and some other stuff and I'll try and get it up... shit, I'm working all week this week. Next day off is, like, next Saturday.

Ok, I knew I said I'd get things started today, but my wrist just started hurting really bad in the middle of writing Chojiro's speech, and I need to take a break from the internet for a night. I'll try to finish tomorrow.

On the day after tomorrow, my family is taking me to India to spend winter holiday with my grandparents on my mother's side. This will not be any fun at all because it is monsoon season. It will be pouring down rain the whole time, and I will be stuck inside babysitting my thousands of cousins and second cousins and little boys and girls to whom I suspect I am not actually related. Shifty

There are over a billion people in India, and every single one of their children will all be at my grandmother's house.

To make things even better, I shall enjoy the exquisite privilege of being grilled by my grandparents, aunts, uncles, great aunts and uncles, and God knows who else as to why I do not currently have a boyfriend, as I have reached the Ripe Old Age of fourteen and of course must be considering marriage. If I am truly lucky, my family members will introduce me to several Eligible Bachelors who all, creepily, don't seem to mind that they are at least twelve years older than I am, like they did last year, and I will get to spend the evening hiding under my blanket, attempting to stop my flesh from crawling and my mind from screaming. Because, as we all know, a girl is nothing but a baby factory that can cook.

Sorry for the lack of updating. It is entirely my fault. I've gotten stuck working eight days in a row during this week and next week, so I feel like boiled monkey shit. My next day off is next Tuesday, so I'll try and get updated by then, provided I don't spend the day in either an alcoholic- or exhaustion-induced coma.

I've been a little slow on updating recently. This is actually *not* because my girlfriend, whom I love very very much, is currently staying with me. It's because 1. My work has me scheduled for yet *another* six days in a row, and 2. I've been writing other game-related backstory and shit (like the stuff I've PMed to <you know who you are> and <you also know who you are>). And it's really pretty good, like on the same level as the Shaku story, if I do say so myself. So I'll probably post it eventually, once I've decided that it's not spoilerific anymore. Catface

Also, I've asked my work for a reduction in hours, because I'm fucking sick as shit of working at fucking Walmart for stretches of seven, eight, nine days in a row. So I'll probably get to update more once that kicks in on 3rd August. Have patience and faith, folks. Smile

More wonderful news:

My laptop has geborked itself. It's still under warrranty, but it'll be over a week before I get it back from the shop.

Everyone try to get your character sheets finished, and I'll update when I've got a non-school computer that I can use for more than 10 minutes.
