Game 2 - Prologue

FYI:

Make sure your name is listed in proper LAST NAME, FIRST NAME order up there. Some of you, I'm not sure whether your names you sent me were in Western order or Eastern order.

Also - It will be up to you to make your own character accounts.

Also also - You will be writing your own parts. I'll be trying hard not to write dialogue for your character - In fact, the first three days or so will be ALL roleplaying, with little to no combat. It will be up to you to establish your character by participating to the best of your ability.

ONE CAVEAT: If you act particularly fucktarded, out-of-element, out-of-flavor, or generally stupid, (I'm looking especially hard at you, Mr. "I Want My Zanpakutou to Transform Into Two Men With Pillows Beating Up The Enemy") I reserve the right to edit your posts, or, if things get REALLY bad, to take over your character as an NPC and change your password.

If you're too inactive, I might also take over your character, if you've got a cool character with potential.

Also also also - If you've got Kanji in mind for writing your name, let me know, cause otherwise I'm gonna come up with Kanji for you.

And feel free to congregate in this thread to try out your new accounts.

Aaaaand... now I've fixed it so you can actually post here with your new accounts.

Also... is "Tenkawa" your family name or your given name? If Tenkawa is supposed to be your family name, I'll go ahead and change your username to Western order for uniformity's sake.

That's because I can't draw worth beans. (Well, to be fair to myself, I can't draw humanoids worth beans. Monstrous creatures, especially reptilian things, I'm pretty decent at... I could probably draw a pretty darn good and significantly freaky group of Hollows or something.)

Any chance I can get/bribe you to draw one for me Kasahara? <_< My avatar as-is is nice and fairly accurate but there's still nothing quite like one that's actually drawn OF the character rather than the closest approximation one can manage to track down.

I'll consider it. For now, my hands are dead tired. I might want to try later on today, though.

So... I can't see any of the Kanji text in the first post... so I'm assuming this means I need to download something. Help? >_> <_<

You probably need a Unicode or Japanese font pack. A bit of Google is probably in order.

Tried that before. All the links I found required me to insert some CD I don't have halfway through the download.

Are you using IE? I recommend IE7Pro. It's quite handy.

I figured out why I could see the Kanji before my computer crash but not now, though... I'm missing a font file called arialuni.ttf ... it apparently comes with MS Office but I lost that in the crash and couldn't get it restored. And Gates has done a pretty darn good job of killing any website that hosts arialuni.ttf for free download.

But that's solved now (hopefully) so no more derailment from me hopefully <_<

I cant seem to use my email account to make a user. What do I do? I wanna play i know my name but dont have a picture yet.

Do you mean that you're getting a message telling you that a user is already registered at your email account? If so, you ought to make a one-use throwaway email account on Yahoo, Google, or Hotmail. The forum doesn't let you make a second user with the same email address.

If that wasn't what you meant, then what is this problem you're having? Could you describe it further?

It's the family name, so change at will.

Mostly 'cause the idea of an Elvis-haired rocker named Duggo with a guitar named Lucille becoming a student Shinigami pretty firmly fits into the "out-of-element, out-of-flavor" thing Smythe pointed out in the post above. (At least, I would think it would. Smythe's call in the end....)

I don't think Duggo's a troll or anything, but he seems to be missing a last name. Do you have a last name Duggo, or should we just call you Duggo?
