I'm kinda annoyed that Hitsugaya got another powerup. In case you can't tell, I really don't like Hitsugaya.

I'm looking forward to the Stark and Kyoraku battle as well. I'm also kinda wondering what's going to happen to Stark's subordinate (what was her name again?). Last I remember she was facing off against Ukitake, but there haven't been any scenes featuring either of them for about 10 chapters.

The last time she tried to do anything, Ukitake nudged her with a weak attack and it ended up sending her flying. She's not all that powerful, much less up to taking on a Captain. Furthermore he doesn't consider her an enemy, and is content to sit and watch the fight, thinking she won't/can't do anything to harm him. Might come back to bite him in the backside later, if she pulls some weird trick out of nowhere.

Me... I'm personally more interested in what's going on in Hueco Mundo than I am in the various fights in Fake-Karakura Town... IE if Yammy suddenly jumping from Diez to Cero is more bark than bite. My prediction now is that he's going to lay waste to Rukia, Chad, and Renji, Orihime's going to be too busy healing Ishida and resting from healing him AND Ichigo to go anywhere, Ishida's still wounded, and Ichigo will show up to pick up where the first three left off. Furthermore I have a feeling he's going to get pounded (in part because of Yammy's raw power, in part because he's likely friggin' exhausted) and someone else will show up to finish the fight - probably not Kenpachi or Byakuya, both of them have had their screen time... Unohana maybe? Or maybe Urahara will pop up out of nowhere, he DID promise to kill Yammy next time they met. I'm personally rooting for the last option.

Soi Fong's Bankai is completely out of character and place. I mean, seriously, a huge bazooka arm? I know Bankais and Shikais come in all sizes and flavors, but doesn't something like that seem a bit out of place?

I other news, the beggining of the chapter with Ukitake and that little arrancar made me chuckle. It feels nice to see that not all fractions are uber powerful, lesser versions of an espada.

It's not just you. It doesn't make any sense to me either. >_<

Though to be fair, she herself said she doesn't care for it, and that it's completely wrong for her. Same thing Hisagi said about his.

Seems that not everyone has a Shikai/Bankai that perfectly suits them like, say, Byakuya, Renji, Rukia, or Ichigo. Which for me makes a lot more sense that not everyone gets the power they wanted... as the Zanpakutou reflects their personality, even the parts of it they may not care for.

Now I am behind you guys because I watch on toon network, and so maybe this has already been discounted. But they just described the Royal Key, so I started thinking of Aizen's motives.

I now believe that Aizen is either an Exiled member of the Royal Family or someone with a vested interest and a past with the Royal Family, and his whole desire to go after them is to reclaim something to which he feels entitled - i.e. a disgraced prince.

This theory would also explain his power level.

Also, yeah, thinks might have escalated right now, but iunno, I think this is gonna turn into a complete mess, and I was enjoying more seeing Kyoraku and stark fight... And I wanted to see Kyoraku's bankai D:

It just dawned on me that we're finally gonna get to see Retsu Unohana kick major ass...she's the strongest shinigami in Hueco Mundo and the only one unharmed. Chances are she kicks the crap out of yammy, i can't wait

Did Hitsugaya really just ask to take on Aizen alone? I mean, seriously?
I don't know what's worse, the fact that that was so beyond stupid or that it gives me the feeling he will end up taking on Aizen alone and beat the snot out of him.
I'm really not liking him much anymore.

I sometimes wonder if my bizarre hopes to see Hitsugaya get completely owned in a curb-stomp battle are just some kind of gut 'Buck the trend!' reaction against the perceived rabid fangirl base, but then there are moments like those...

At least Hiyori gave him a verbal smackdown, though. Followed by a battle of the midgets...

Also, am I the only one who thought that Barragan's 'Aging' of Hachi's Kidou on the last page was completely awesome?

especially at aizen saying "shit." when he got quadruple teamed by hitsugaya, kyoraku, soifon and shinji.

I'm glad that they're finally being smart and attacking at once, and that Shinji activated his shikai again. That's a neat one.

Of course, it's all a shame that it's all for nothing. They'll have to do something impressive like that again so Ichigo can land the blow, but odds are that they'll be incapacitated, leaving Ichigo (surprise surprise) alone.

Ichigo apparently transforms again during his fight with Ulquiorra. If this turns into NEVER ENDING SUPER SAIYAN LEVEL LADDER I'm quitting the series -_-...
