10. Hollow Compendium

Henchman
The weakest type of Hollow, these dim creatures may indicate that the stronger Hollow that they serve may be nearby.


Crawler
A weak Hollow that has a tendency to sneak up on its victims while their attention is taken by stronger Hollows.


Horn Hollow
A common, strong, but very unintelligent Hollow. Can still be dangerous in groups.


Flying Bat
This Hollow is weak, but it often attacks in swarms from the air. Don't let them gang up on you.


Spined Hollow
Its spines make it dangerous to fight up close. Attack from a distance.


Centipede
Its fangs and spines are poisonous, and it can wraps its flexible body around its prey like a snake.


Flying Ray
Often leads swarms of Flying Bats. Can be deadly if it gets the drop on you.


Trilobite
A brutish Hollow with the strength - and the intelligence - of a mountain.


Eyeglow
Its powers are concentrated in its eyes. Cannot use its Kidou-like abilities if its eyes are closed.


Zebrabeast
Very fast and intelligent for a lower-level Hollow. Its horns are its main weapons.


Hexipod
Strong, but fairly common. Found frequently on Earth. Will rampage widely if left alone.


Five-Points
Can fire bolts of energy by focusing its reiatsu through the spires on its head.


Tribal
Hides a freakish intelligence behind its primitive-looking mask. Can use abilities that resemble low-level Kidou spells.


Mantis
An especially sadistic Hollow that delights in slaughter. Beware its dual bladed attack.


Dreadlock
Exhibits extraordinarily erratic behaviour, even for a Hollow. Rumored among the Shinigami to be completely mad.


Giant Centipede
Similar to a smaller Centipede, but much larger and deadlier. Possibly created by amalgamation of smaller Hollows.


Gobbler
Can absorb both Shinigami and other Hollows by eating them. Stay away from its mouth.


Grinning Slither
Very fast, despite its awkward build. Tends to flee when outnumbered or injured, but always returns to finish its battles.


Split-Mask
Fragile, but very powerful. Can force weaker Hollows to defend it.


Obsession
Shows extreme singlemindedness, focusing its attention on a single victim, until the object of its attention is destroyed and it moves on to the next.


Stretcher
Its elastic-like body allows it to attack multiple targets, and makes it difficult to strike back.


Nekobasu
Highly agile and deadly. Its claws can slice through solid rock.


Scythe
A cunning and intelligent Hollow that fights hand to hand using something similar to martial arts.


Shrieker
Its loud, piercing voice can cause confusion and disorientation. Use caution.


Fishbone
This Hollow has no special abilites at all besides its incredible strength. The strongest ones may even be able to use Cero.


Chiaroscuro
Can switch between two forms, one black and one white. Its skills and fighting styles are vastly different depending on which form it takes.


Wildmane
Avoid this Hollow if at all possible, as it can hypnotize and control Shinigami.


Djinni
Can use a very wide array of Kidou-like abilities, including the ability to heal itself. Very high defense and very difficult to fight.


Blue Dragon
Second in power only to the Menos Grande. Can wipe out entire squads of Shinigami with its breath attack.


Menos Grande
WARNING - HIGHLY DANGEROUS! DO NOT ENGAGE WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF A SEATED OFFICER OF AT LEAST 5TH RANK!
